SCY

The composite yarn not only has the characteristics of wrapped polyester, but also has the good elasticity and recovery performance of spandex, which makes up for the defect of single component filament.

Air-covered yarn and mechanical-covered yarn have their own advantages and disadvantages in downstream weaving mills. Air-covered yarn generally needs sizing when warping on an air-jet loom, otherwise the fabric is prone to fluff and broken threads, but it can be used directly by beating up. In terms of cost alone, the production capacity of air-covered yarn is much higher than that of mechanical-covered yarn, which makes the price lower than that of machine bag, which is convenient to reduce the cost of downstream weaving mills.

 

Although the mechanical covered yarn does not expose the core filament, generally except for the uneven twist, it is not easy to cause quality problems during spinning and weaving, but the output is low, so the price is higher than the air-covered yarn of the same specification by more than rmb 5000/t. The price of denier covered yarn is even higher than that of air-covered yarn of the same specification, which is more than rmb 10000/t, thus greatly increasing the cost of using mechanical covered yarn.
